Norma Nolan

NORMA J. “JUNE” NOLAN ROCK FALLS- Norma J. “June” Nolan, 78, of Rock Falls, died, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Sterling Pavillion. She was a computer operator for Boeing, prior to retirement. Norma was born June 14, 1938 in Greenwich, OH, the daughter of Norman and Irene (Reison) Ryan. Norma was a very dedicated Mom to her children, she enjoyed bowling, visiting the casinos and baseball. Her favorite team was the Los Angeles Angels. God saw June was getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his arm around her and whispered, “Come with me” With tearful eyes we watched, and saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. Survivors include four children, Tammy (Louie) Austad of Bellflower, CA, Gary (Sheri) Nolan of Rock Falls, Theresa Gurwell of Kansas, and Melissa (Faren) Hunt of Black Foot, ID; one sister, Dorothy Boggs of Clairmont, NC; grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Nicholas, Jeremy, Leresa, Sherise, Katelyn and Lindsay; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Mary Davis and Lillian Ankeny. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
