Pedro J. Moreno

Pedro J. Moreno, 63, of Sterling died Wednesday, October 19, 2022, surrounded by his children. He was formally employed by Sterling Steel Ball followed by Independent Carpentry.

Mr. Moreno was born October 7,1959 in Morrison, the son of Hesiquio Moreno & Santiaga Chavez Moreno.

Mr. Moreno enjoyed fishing and being very social in his younger years. He also loved talking on the phone with his children daily, planting his vegetables, watching movies and making his morning coffee stops.

Survivors include two daughters, Jessica (Ruben) Rodriguez of Orlando Florida and Sandra (Ed) Krause, of Lombard; one son, Jose Moreno of Sterling; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his father, Hesiquio Moreno; four sisters, Maria (Willy) Rodriguez, Estela (Ismael) Sagal, Rosa ( Martin) Favela and Alma Moreno; one brother Juan Moreno; many nieces & nephews and a long life friend, Nadine Perez.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Santiaga Moreno; sister, Juanita Rosas; brother, Jose Moreno and Uncle Roy Chavez.

Prayer service will be held at 10:30 AM Friday October 28, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Sterling.

Following luncheon at 12:00 pm at K's corner.

A memorial has been established.
