Peggy Ovall

Peggy Ovall, 68, of Dixon died Wednesday January 11, 2023 at KSB surrounded by family. Peggy was born May 11, 1954 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Sidney and Bernice (Reins) Brown. She married Jerry Ovall on August 24, 1985 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sterling. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2015.

Survivors include one daughter Amanda (Ed) Thomas of Dixon; one sister Penny Sjoberg of Rockford; one grand-daughter Andrea Thomas of Dixon.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday January 14, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Sterling. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 10AM-11AM. Cremation rites will follow, and burial will take place at a later date.

A memorial has been established to the family.
