Raymond Hendricks

RAYMOND C. HENDRICKS, 87, died October 3, 2016 at Regency Care Center, Sterling. Raymond was born February 22, 1929 in Glen Elder, KS, the son of Paul R. and Edna Hendricks. He moved to Rock Falls with his parents and brothers in 1939. In 1995 he moved to Coventry Cottages in Sterling. He was a member of the Reformed Mennonite Church of Sterling. Raymond worked on the family farm on McNeil Road in Rock Falls and was assistant grounds keeper at Rock River Country Club for many years. Survivors include one brother, James (Kathleen) Hendricks of Sycamore, one sister-in-law, Gloria (Jim) Kennedy of Bettendorf, IA; one niece, Linda (John) Anderson and their children, Lauren, Matthew and Michael; one nephew, James P. (Heidi) Hendricks and their son, Josiah. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Darrell Hendricks. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Reformed Mennonite Church in Sterling. Burial will be at the Reformed Mennonite Cemetery, Sterling. There will be no visitation.
