Reuben Bilbrey

Reuben D. Bilbrey 83, of Sterling died Saturday March 17, 2018 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling. Reuben was born December 29, 1934 in Portia Arkansas the son of Reuben D. and Ruby (Brightwell) Bilbrey. Survivors include life partner Julie Pratt of Sterling; one son David (Robyn) Bilbrey of Acworth GA; two daughters Susan ( David) Metzler of Sterling, and Peggy (Brad) Wetzell of Tampico; six grandchildren Derek, Madelyn, Victoria, Jennifer, Alyson, and Kelsey (Codi) Bruns; two great grandchildren Ellie, and Adalie, and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bill Bilbrey, and one sister-in-law Shirley Bilbrey. Graveside service is at 11AM, Thursday March 22, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, with full military rites, with David Schmitt, of 16th Avenue Church of Christ, officiating. Visitation will be from 4PM.-7PM. Wednesday March 21, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling.
