Rock Falls- Richard Burns, 78, of Rock Falls died Friday March 3, 2017. Richard was born May 5, 1938 in Sterling, the son of John and Cecile (Smith) Burns. He Married Betty Hack on December 2, 1967 in Elgin. Survivors include his wife Betty, and a sister Pat Mock of Rock Falls; and one step-grandson Jay Holly of Rock Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral is at 10 AM Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling. Burial is at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.
