Roberta Williams

Roberta Jean Williams, 78, of Sterling, died, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Regency Health Care Center. She was employed at Borg Warner, prior to retirement. She was a member of the Sterling American Legion. Roberta was born September 28, 1937 in Rock Falls, the daughter of William and Ora Lucille (Scott) Wolber. Survivors include, two daughters, Judy (Tony) Karrow of Polo and Tammy Tharp of Moline; one son, Jon (Kelly) Williams of Plainfield; one sister, Gloria Williams of Chandler, AZ; three brothers, Richard and Robert (Theresa) Wolber, both of Denver CO, Rodney Wolber of Glendale, AZ; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Vinson. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation with Pastor Jeremy Heller, of Faith Discovery Church, Polo, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 10-10:45AM Monday, prior to services at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
