Rosemary Wilsey, 60, of Rock Falls, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at her home. Rosemary was born November 12, 1957 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Edwin H. and June A (Bequeret) Maine. She attended SIUC where she studied Liberal Arts. She married William Wilsey on October 23, 1993 at East View Baptist Church, Belleville, IL. Rosemary enjoyed making jewelry and researching genealogy. She was very knowledgeable about history, geography and the ancient world. She was employed at Parkway Retirement Center as a cook. Survivors include her husband, William of Rock Falls; two sons, James E. Wilsey and William J. Wilsey, both of Sterling.; two sisters, Edwina Engel of Lansing, MI and Judith (John) Looney of Independence, KY; one sister-in-law, Kathy Maine of Alhambra, IL; and three grandchildren, Alexzandria Wilsey, Cedrick Ries-Wilsey and Samara Ries-Wilsey. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sharon Thomure; two brothers, Don Maine and Clarence Maine in infancy. Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 5-7PM at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation Sterling. There will be no funeral services. Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be at a later date. A memorial has been established. Arrangements were completed by the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling.
