Sheryl Coy

ROCK FALLS-Sheryl Coy, 66, of Rock Falls, died Sunday January 27, 2019 at Rock River Hospice & Home. Sheryl was born June 5, 1952 the daughter of Elmer and Lois (VanGuilder) Bartz. She married Randy Coy on February 26, 1972 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1990. Survivors include one son Jeremy (Tosha Thompson) Coy of Rock Falls; one brother Bill (Kay) Bartz of Sterling; four sisters Kathy (Gary) Collinson of Sterling, Tanya Reed of Sterling, Debbie Edwards of Elkton KY, and Connie Polistch; one step-sister Dawn of Sterling; and three grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one son Roderick Coy. Funeral service is at 11AM Thursday January 31, 2019 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10AM-11AM one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
