Timothy Kophamer

Timothy William Kophamer, 63, of Morrison, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022. He was employed by Sterling Steel Company (SSC), as a Millwright.

Tim was born January 12, 1959, in Sterling, the son of James Kophamer and Diana (Lutz) Kophamer. He spent his life working as Millwright and farmer. Tim could be found barefoot in his garden, working in his woodshop or having a good laugh with his children and grandchildren.

He survived by his wife, Cathy (Meiners) Kophamer; his father, James Kophamer; siblings Mark (Sharon) Kophamer, Kathryn (Dan) Hubbard, Joan (Tom) Wear, Amy (Joe) Robbins; children Adam (Maja) Kophamer, Eric (Ashley) Kophamer, and Ashley (Levi) Lewis; grandchildren: Brandt, Ethan, Jase, Wyatt, Hannah, Ella, Lane, and Leonora.

Tim’s life will be celebrated in a small family gathering with a final resting place at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Sterling. In lieu of flowers or visitation, the family asks for you to donate to St. Jude’s. Tim’s contagious laughter and smile will live on in the spirit of his family and friends.
