Virginia Koster

VIRGINIA RUTH KOSTER ROCKFORD- Virginia Ruth Koster, 84, formerly of Sterling, died, Friday, August 14, 2009, at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. Virginia was born February 15, 1925 in Sterling. The daughter of Lester James and Marjorie Irene (Hartman) Deets. She married Ronald Koster on June 2, 1946 at St. John's. He preceded her in death on February 26, 1995. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Survivors include one daughter, Ann (Ron) Benson of Viola, WS; two sisters, Betty (Ted) Sulouff of Emerson and Doris (William) Conroy of Capistrano Beach, CA; and one granddaughter Melissa Buckler of Rockton. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, August 19, 2009 at Riverside Cemetery with the Reverend Judith Hueseth, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiating. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established to St. Paul Lutheran Church
