Wanda Louise Sutton

 Wanda Sutton, 93, of Rock Falls died Friday December 6, 2024 at Allure of Sterling. Wanda was born February 21, 1931 in Sterling, the daughter of David and Agnus (Petrashek) Williamson. She married Charles C. Sutton October 23, 1948 in Rock Falls. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1999.

 Survivors include two daughters Ginger (Kevin) Hanson of Sterling, Vicky (Reverend Samuel) Sutton-Grzybek of Silvis; three sons Charles C. Sutton of Cameron Park CA, Dale E. (Jane) Sutton of Rock Falls, and Job (Lenna Lacey) Sutton of Rock Falls; grandchildren Christine (Wayne) Schropshire, Jason Devers, Kim McCoy, Michelle Geertz, Kevin Hanson Jr., Rebecca Hanson, Charity (Eric) Becker, Issac (Stephanie) Grzybek, Rebecca Gyorgy, Trisha Frost-Sutton, Charlie Sutton Jr., Dale Sutton Jr, Al Sutton Sr, and Kerene (Jeff) Tilton; and many great and great-great grandchildren. 

 Wanda was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Sheila Sutton; and a daughter-in-law Patricia “Patty “ Sutton; one son-in-law Joel Devers.

 Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Thursday December 12, 2024 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, with pastor Les Funderberg, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:30AM-11:30AM at Schilling Funeral Home, in Sterling. Burial will take place at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls. 

 A memorial has been established.
