Obituary of Linda Lou Dhamers

GENESEO- Linda Lou Dhamers passed away peacefully on September 16, 2019 at the Hammond-Henry Long Term Care Living Center in Geneseo.

Linda the daughter of Shirley (Klavon) and Charles Dhamers, was born September 21, 1945 in Geneseo. She attended elementary schools in Geneseo and graduated from Erie High School. Linda graduated from the Sterling School of Cosmetology and worked as a beautician first in Geneseo before going to Morrison. Linda became one of the owner/operators of the Main Street Beauty Shop in Morrison for many years before retiring. 

Linda enjoyed traveling and went to Hawaii and on Caribbean cruises several times. During her retirement she was an active member of the Erie Senior Citizens group and organized many short trips. She was also an active member of the Hillsdale Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary for several years. 

Linda is survived by brothers, Frank of Geneseo and Larry (Linda);nephews, Jason (Siou) and Nathan (Stephanie); and great-nieces, Jasmine and Jade all in Lombard, Illinois. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Charles Dhamers.

A Memorial and Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 11AM on September 28, 2019 at 24619 Stagecoach Road, Geneseo.
