Obituary of Laura Leui

ROCKFALLS- Laura E. Leui died October 22, 2011, at CGH medical center, Sterling. Laura was employed by Sears, and Klines for several years before retirement. Mrs. Leui was born July2, 1906, in Clarmont, Iowa, the daughter of Lydia (Hanni) Wells. She married Howard Leui on May 17, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1958. Laura was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Sterling. She lived at Garden Circle Apartmaents for several years, and had many friends who will miss her. Survivors include a special friend that had looked after her for many years, Frances Maynard. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be 11AM Wednesday October 26, 2011, at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. Arrangements were completed by Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. A memorial has been established.
