Obituary of Adam Lee Mighell

STERLING- Adam Lee Mighell, was born January 18, 2020 at 12:47 AM “You are loved more than you will ever know by someone who died to know you” Romans 5:8 He learned that before any of us could have. He felt true love in his 18 hours of life, more than most people feel in their first 18 years. The joy he brought upon his family in that short time was enough to last a lifetime. Adam was preceded in death by a long line of loved ones, and welcomed to the gates of Heaven with open arms and everlasting health. Although his death was a tragedy his life will always remain with us. “Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10 Adam died at 7:04 PM on January 18, 2020 Survivors include his parents Makenzie Fox of Sterling, and Charles Mighell also of Sterling. Maternal great-grandparents Robert (Sharon) Kappes of Chadwick, and Carol Fox of Rock Falls; Paternal great-grandma Jenny Hudson of Dixon; Maternal grandparents Scott Fox of Dixon, and Sandra Kappes of Sterling; Paternal Grandparents Rosemary (Robbie) Tarbill of Sterling; one uncle Jamison Fox of Sterling; five Aunts Kandi (David) Baker of Lasalle, Alexis Fox of Princeton, Destinee Doyle of Sterling, Rayann Tarbill of Rock Falls, and Angel Doyle of Rock Falls; several great Aunts and Uncles. Visitation will be February 2, 2020 from 3:30 to 4:30 at Amazing Grace Church (512 Second Avenue in Sterling) with a memorial service starting at 430. Dinner to follow at Church.
