Obituary of Manuel Rascon

MANUEL RASCON STERLING-Manuel Rascon, 75, of Sterling, died, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his home. Manuel was born August 26, 1944 in Chihuahua Chihuahua, Mexico the son of Gabriel and Eusebia Rascon. Survivors include his ex-wife and mother of their four children, Patricia Rascon of Sterling, IL; seven children, eldest being Isidro Manuel Travino of NM, Manuel Rene (Marie Vega) Rascon of El Paso, TX, Maria Del Carmen Rascon-Valle of El Paso, TX, Matthew Rascon of Rock Falls, Gabriel Rascon of Sterling, Eric Rascon of Phoenix, AZ, Elena Rascon-Horwedel of Norridge,IL; one brother, Jesus and (Virginia) Rascon of Sterling; one sister, Maria Elena (Julian) Becerra of Oklahoma City; eleven grandchildren, Liliana Rascon, Isaiah Rascon, Alexis Rascon, Calvin Horwedel, Ilia Rascon, Mellissa Valle-Farpon, Valerie Valle, Erika Valle, Carlos Abraham Valle, Andy Vega, Ashley Vega; Great grandchildren include, Sebastian Rodriguez, Valeria Farpon, Camila Farpon, Cahel Valle, Corrette Valle, Lucas Herrera, Stevaya Violet Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Salvador Herminio Rascon. Funeral Service will be held at 7PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling. Visitation will be from 5PM-7PM prior to services at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 5PM. Burial will take place at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.
