Obituary of Ivan Webb

IVAN E. WEBB ROCK FALLS - Ivan E. Webb, 64, of Rock Falls, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at CGH Medical Center. He was employed by National Manufacturing and retired in January 2003 after 33 years. Ivan was born August 28, 1948 in Sterling, the son of Harry E. and Winifred J. (Tewell) Webb. He served in the Navy. Ivan was the past commander of American Legion Post #902 in Rock Falls and a member of the 40-8 Club. Survivors include his father, Harry E. Webb; four daughters, Tammy (Russel) Austin, of Mansfield, MO, Virginia (Enrique) Ibarra, of Sterling, Miranda (Nickolas) Langley, of Rock Falls, and Tanna (Cordell) Melendez, of Sterling; two sons, Travis (Amy) Webb and Andrew Webb, both of Rock Falls; a special son, Mark Much; seven sisters, Vicki Howell, of Richmond, KY, Rebecca Owen, of Sterling, Merry (Dan) Mennenoh, of Galena, Rowena Webb, of Morrison, Nikki Prater, Michal (David) Fisher and Traci (Tim) Hodgson, all of Rock Falls; four brothers, Bradley Webb and Mark Webb, both of Rock Falls, Timothy Webb and Matt (Rosalee) Webb, both of Sterling; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Winnie; and one brother, Donald L. Elhoffer. Services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, September 28, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling. Burial will be at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM, Thursday, at the Funeral Home. A memorial has been established.
