Obituary of William Scribner

WILLIAM "BILL" C. SCRIBNER STERLING - William "Bill" C. Scribner, 56, of Sterling, died Thursday, October 11, 2012. He was employed as an over-the-road truck driver for DCM. William was born January 8, 1956 in Toledo, OH, the son of Elmer and Barbara Scribner. He served in the Marine Corp from 1971 to 1976. He was a member of Moose lodge #726 Sterling. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Scribner; two daughters, Jeni (Tony) Willis, of Prairie Du Chien, and Jamie Scribner, of Aurora; one son, Jay Scribner, of Sterling; one uncle, Bob Werley, of Florida; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Scribner. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM, with military rites taking place at 4PM Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling.
