Obituary of Donald Wendt

DIXON- Donald Wendt, 91, of Dixon died Saturday December 19, 2020 at his home. Donald was born on November 12, 1929 in Francesville, IN, the son of Harry and Elsie (Beiswanger) Wendt. He married Norma Sondergoth on September 26, 1960 in West Brooklyn. She preceded him in death on February 4, 1988. Together again with his beloved wife Norma, his parents and brother Richard in heaven walking the golden streets of glory, no more pain no more sorrow. Praise The Lord. Survivors include three brothers, Robert L. Wendt of Monticello, IN, Ralph E. (Patricia) Wendt of Lafayette, IN, Arthur J. (Rita) Wendt of Frances IN; one sister, Helen Vollmer of Fischers, IN; sister in law, Rita Wendt of Valparaiso, IN; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife; parents Harry and Elsie Wendt; and one brother Richard G. Wendt. Cremation rites have been accorded and a Mass of the Christian Burial will take place as a private service for immediate family only due to Covid concerns. Final internment beside his wife immediately following the service. A memorial has been established to Running Strong For American Indian Youth-Pilamaya.
