DIXON- Lora B. Pfister, 68, died Thursday January 21, 2021 at KSB Hospital in Dixon. Lora was born in Cape Girardeau MO on December 6, 1952 to Leonard and Flossie Ward. Lora loved crafting teddy bears and hats, redecorating the house (several times a year), a large coke with lite ice, games on the computer, anything Statler Brothers, her church family and shopping. Survivors include a daughter Missy Frey of Polo, a son Mark Pfister; Bonus daughters Melynda Minor and Michelle Schipper; grandchildren Brandy (Eddy) Burkhart, Jonathan (Dani) Frey, Christina (Colten) Frey, Victoria Pfister, Elizabeth Pfister, Dustin Scott, Simone Rhodes, along with many bonus grandkids; great grand-children Ethan, Zakk, Zane, Branson, Maddox, Noah, Xaverie, and lots of bonus grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; siblings Pat (Bobby) Keck, Wendy Hupperts; Best friends Sharon Gilreath-Herrera, Rob (Candy) Roath, and Lois Gunning; and many many more friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Pfister; son David Latham; brothers Jimmy, Tony, and Benny Ward; and best friend Jerone Taveggia. Cremation rites have been accorded by Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling, memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Hope Bible Fellowship in Dixon. Memorials may either be sent to Hope Bible Fellowship in Dixon, or Schilling Funeral Home ℅ Lora Pfister P.O. Box 592 Sterling IL 61081 and will be forwarded to family.
