STERLING-Francisco B. Garcia, Jr, 64 of Sterling, died, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at CGH Medical Center.
Francisco was born March 30, 1956 in Sterling the son of Francisco and Porfiria (Escamilla) Garcia, Sr. He married Paula Sarmiento on February 14, 1981 in Sterling.
Francisco was a very good man, kind and generous. He was a family man and a faithful christian.
Survivors include his wife, Paula; one daughter, Rosa (Roy) VanBrocklin of Brodhead, WI; one son, Andres Garcia of Sterling; three sisters, Juanita Salgaro of Rochelle, Olga Garcia of Sterling, Aurora Echevarria of Aurora and Lupita Rodriguez of Moline and one brother, Mario Garcia of Chicago.
Graveside services will be held at 1PM Monday, February 8, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling, with Pastor Dennis Owens, officiating.
A memorial has been established. Memorial may be sent to Schilling Funeral Home, PO Box 592 Sterling, IL 61081 and will be forwarded to the family.
