Obituary of Karen Lundquist

ROCK FALLS - Karen “Kay” Lundquist was born March 14, 1945 in Sterling, Illinois to Clemmen and Margarite (Hinrichs) Propheter. She attended Rock Falls and Sterling schools and graduated in 1963 at Sterling High School. Karen married Robert L Lundquist on August 1, 1964 in Gary, Indiana. She is survived by three sons, Troy (Dana) Lundquist of Mesa, Arizona. Robert Lundquist of Bloomington, Illinois, and Carl Lundquist at home in Rock Falls. Also four grandchildren, Blake Mina of Harmony, Florida, Britteny Yarbrough of Sikeston, Missouri, Michael Lundquist of Oregon and Ryan Lundquist of Phoenix, Arizona. Five great grandchildren, Karter and Riley Mina of Harmony, Florida and Cian, Connor and Colson Yarbrough of Sikeston, Missouri. Brothers, Larry Propheter of Atlanta, Georgia and Bob Propheter of Flagstaff, Arizona ; Sister, Peggy Propheter of Rock Falls, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (2012), her parents and two sisters, Leatrice Hogan and Janice Fry; a brother Donald Propheter; Her in laws Carl and Marie Lundquist; Many uncles, aunts and cousins. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00pm on Saturday, April 3rd , 2021 at Calvary Cemetery, Sterling. Memorials have been established.
