BARBARA ANN CELLETTI ROCKFALLS-Barbara Ann Celletti, 86, of Rock Falls, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 in the care of St. Thomas Hospice, Hinsdale Hospital in the presence of her daughter and son-in-law. Barbara was born, June 7, 1934, the daughter of Paul and Marion Knabe. She married Alfred Celletti on October 29, 1960. She was a graduate of Merrill Grade School and Rock Falls High School, Class of 1952. Barbara attended Rockford Business School. Barbara returned to Rock Falls to work at Sterling-Rock Falls Clinic in medical records. She also did clerical work for ten years at the former Northwestern Steel and Wire, Co. In addition Barbara worked at Products Unlimited. Barbara attended the First Presbyterian Church, Sterling with her mother and St. Andrew Catholic Church, Rock Falls, with her husband, Alfred. Barbara’s attitude was exceptional. She had a very strong work ethic. She was a humble woman who did countless good deeds for friends and her family. Barbara was an advocate for small animals and enjoyed raising Miniature Schnauzers. Her passion was taking care of her house and mowing her lawn. She also loved listening to the Lawrence Welk Show, big band and easy listening music. Survivors include her daughter, Sheri A. (James) Kulling of Darien; brother-in-law, William H. (Carol) Dearinger; nieces, Susan Sampedro and Debbie A. Dearinger (Koenen); nephew, William P. Dearinger; great nieces, Lauren Sampedro, Ashley Sampedro, Natalie Koenen and Abbie Dearinger and great-nephews, Brandon Sampedro and Alex Koenen and cousins, Patricia (Renkes) Cassens and Donald King. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred Celletti and her sister, Nancy S. (Knabe) Dearinger. Private graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Sterling.
