ROCK FALLS-Ian Buckingham, 20, of Rock Falls, died, Monday, April 12, 2021 at CGH Medical Center of Sterling. He was born on December 14, 2000 the son of Chasity Buckingham. Ian was a loving partner, father, son, brother, grandson and nephew. In his younger years Ian spent time as a boy scout in Rock Falls. He enjoyed attending White Sox games in Chicago and had a special liking for video games. The love of his life Cierra and son Cayden would often join him on long walks with his dogs. He would always rave about his aunt Brittany's lasagna and how no one could make it like she did. Survivors include his mother, Chasity Buckingham of Sterling; his loves of his life, Cierra Coleman of Rock Falls and son Cayden Buckingham of Rock Falls; one brother, Aidan Buckingham of Morton, IL; his grandparents, Linda (Todd Bass) Kramer of Rock Falls, Tim Kramer of Sterling, Lee and Norma Pizarro of Sterling; great grandfather, Don Kramer; aunt, Brittany (Brad) Hoffmire of Morton, IL; uncle, Donnie (Cassie) Kramer of Rock Falls; many cousins; many great aunts and uncles; and special family friends, Alphonso (Brenda) Reese of Sterling. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vivian and Bill Buckingham; great-grandmother, Judy Barnes; his aunt, Peggie Buckingham; cousin, Tyler Buckingham. There will be no services at this time. A memorial has been established and may be sent to Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation of Sterling at PO Box 592, Sterling, IL 61081 to be forwarded to the family.
