Obituary of Debra Sue Willstead

DEBRA “DEB” SUE WILLSTEAD ROCK FALLS-Debra “Deb” Sue Willstead, 66, of Rock Falls, died, Monday, May 3,2021 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling. Deb was born March 16, 1955 in Dixon, the daughter of Hugh and Norma (Heather) Voorhies, Jr. She was a member of the Sterling Moose. Deb loved playing Bingo and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother of two daughters, Heather Feary of Rockford and Elizabeth Verhulst of Sterling; one son, Daniel Willstead of Rock Falls; her significant other, Keith Stern of Rock Falls; two brothers, Ronald Voorhies of Davenport, IA and Dennis Voorhies of Dixon; two sisters, Pamela (Thomas) Shedosky of Columbus, WI and Tamera (Ronald) Ackert of Walton; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. There also will be a private family visitation. A memorial has been established.
