Obituary of Loriann Melsness

Loriann Melsness passed away on June 16th, 2021 at the age of 59. She died while in the hospital, surrounded by her close family, and passed peacefully. Loriann is survived by her husband Rodney; her sons Nicholas and Andrew; her parents Paul and Teodora; her granddaughter Braelynn, her siblings Gerry and Paulette, and many, many other loved ones. Loriann was born in Sterling, IL on February 19th, 1962, to Paul and Teodora Bartolomei. She spent her life as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and supporting a small business that she loved running with her husband, Rodney “Buddy” Melsness out of their home in Sterling, IL. She was an avid collector of trinkets from her travels, a lover of dogs, and a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe. Loriann loved traveling with her family, frequenting cruises and destinations in the Caribbean as often as she could. She was very proud of her Italian heritage, and loved her family and friends with her huge heart. She will be missed greatly.
