WALNUT- Iva L. Bousum, 62, formerly of Dixon, died Monday, June 28, 2021 Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care of Walnut.
Iva was born January 10, 1959 in Dixon, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Paden) Bousum. She enjoyed crime tv, game shows, and animals. The thing she loved the most was her visits from her daughter and granddaughter. Iva had a great sense of humor and was beautifully simple.
Survivors include her daughter, Dallas Bousum of Dixon; brother, Bob (Sandy) Bousum of KY; sister, Barb (Bud Wilson) Bushland of PA; granddaughter, Harper Bousum; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sara Schultheis.
Visitation will take place from 11AM-1PM Friday, July 2, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation of Sterling. In keeping Ivas loving and giving spirit, it was her decision to donate life so that others may live it. At Ivas' request her body will be donated to The Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois for the advancement of science. There will be no services following the visitation.
A memorial has been established. Memorials may also be sent to Schilling Funeral Home at PO BOX 592 Sterling, IL 61081 to be forwarded to the family.
