SHIRLEY M. BOLLMAN STERLING- Shirley M. Bollman, 87, of Rock Falls passed away Sunday June 27, 2021 at Rock River Hospice & Home. Shirley was born February 3, 1934 in Glen Ellyn the daughter of Vernon and Loretta (Nolan) Barnes. She married Wayne Bollman on March 15, 1953 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2019. Shirley enjoyed going out for coffee with friends and previous co-workers. She worked at CGH Medical Center as lab secretary for 30 years until her retirement. Shirley was fond of her cats, and spoiled them tremendously. Survivors include one son Larry (Linda) Bollman of San Antonio TX; one daughter Diane Bollman of Rock Falls; one brother Jim Barnes of Leland; three step grandchildren Dan (Denise) Hahn, Michelle Hahn, Michael (Pauline) Hahn; and a special friend and companion “Kitty”. Funeral Services will be 10 AM Saturday July 3, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling with Reverend Leo Paterson, of St. John’s Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial to take place at Oak Knoll Memorial Park following services. Visitation from 4PM-7PM Friday July 2, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation. A memorial has been established to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com
