Obituary of Mark Edward Vinson

MARK EDWARD VINSON PROPHETSTOWN-Mark Edward Vinson, 55 of Prophetstown died Sunday, July 11, 2021 at his home. Mark was born July 21, 1965 in Sterling, IL., the son of Eddie and Sharon (Wolber) Vinson. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. If you never heard Mark say, “Ain’t that right Pen" or “yeah but you know what I mean, right" then you don't know Mark. Mark loved to travel and he loved his family. Survivors include his siblings Tommy Vinson of Sterling, Rick Vinson (Leslie) of Baltimore, MD, Randy Vinson of Rock Falls, Robby (Claudia) Vinson of Pharr, TX, William (Lynn) Vinson of Prophetstown, Penny (Bradley) Feltman of Hinesville, GA, Scott Vinson of Hinesville, GA, Heather Vinson of Dixon, IL, Keith Vinson of Sterling, and several nieces and nephews to include (FN) Staci Vinson and special friend, Donna Price. Mark was preceded in death by both parents, Eddie L. Vinson and Sharon R. Vinson, also two brothers in infancy Brenton and Rory Vinson. There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded.
