Obituary of Bruce Francis

MILLEDGEVILLE- Bruce A. Francis, 70, of Milledgeville passed away Friday August 27, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Bruce was born March 14, 1951 in Sterling, the son of Willard and Lois (Lancaster) Francis. He married Roxanne Miller on December 7, 1974. Bruce was a lifelong farmer. He loved his land, he loved his animals, but most of all he loved his family. He built his lake with the intention that his family would be able to enjoy it for years to come. Survivors include his wife Roxanne; one son Kurt Francis(Kelly) of Milledgeville; one daughter Rebecca (Jim) Eaglin of Itasca; one sister Gail Francis of Canada; four grandchildren Jimmy Eaglin, Maggie Eaglin, Kyson Francis, and Kamden Francis, and a granddaughter arriving in November. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation rites have been accorded. Friends and family are welcomed to attend the graveside services which will take place at 10:30AM Wednesday September 1, 2021 at South Elkhorn Cemetery, with pastor Rick Koch of Dutchtown Church, officiating.
