Obituary of Tammy Lea Armstrong

STERLING- Tammy Lea Armstrong, 56, of Sterling, passed away August 29, 2021 at her daughters home, surrounded by family. Tammy was born July 6, 1965 the daughter of Earl and Karen (Harms) Cook Jr. Tammy loved being outside enjoying nature, having bonfires, and loved animals very much. She enjoyed her grandchildren the most and enjoyed spending her time with them. She was a member of the Salvation Army of Sterling. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Karen (Tom) Gibson of FL; one son, Andrew (Jessica) Armstrong of Tampico; one daughter, Amy (Ricky Lemmeyer) Armstrong of Lyndon; her boyfriend, Denny Clay of Sterling; four grandchildren, Camyrn Mulnix, Daniel Lemmeyer, Layla Lemmeyer, Carson Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Tony James Cook and Troy Cook. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2PM on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her son Andrew’s home located at 212 South Benton St, Tampico, IL 61283. A memorial has been established.
