Obituary of Jacques Nicholas Lovinski

JACQUES NICHOLAS LOVINSKI STERLING-Jacques Nicholas Lovinski, 90, of Sterling, died Sunday October 17, 2021 at Regency Care of Sterling. Jacques was born May 18, 1931 in Haiti, the son of Sanois and Ivonne (Charpentier) Lovinski. He married Marie Derivieres on April 1, 1969 in New York. Jacques was the Assistant Pastor for the Full Gospel Assembly for over fifteen years. He saw over a lot of things at church. He helped others without hesitation and was always willing to work. He had a big heart, a nice smile and was a very funny man. He was also a very good carpenter, still climbing ladders at 80 years of age. He will be truly missed. Survivors include his wife, Marie of Sterling; three daughters, Rebecca Lovinski (Milen) Minev of Georgia, Michaelle Lovinski of Dixon and Nicole Lovinsky of Virginia; two sons, Samuel Lovinski of Sterling and Matthania Lovinski of Mt.Morris; one brother, Andre Desir of New York; twelve grandchildren, including, Abrianna Wilson of Rochelle, Ashlynn Wilson of Sterling, Aneisha Wilson of Dekalb and Tayshaun Lovinski of Dixon and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Pierre Lovinsky. Memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Full Gospel Assembly, Sterling with Pastor Brian Deseno, officiating. A memorial has been established.
