Obituary of Brad Thacker

WILLIAM “BRAD” THACKER ELKHORN, WI- William “Brad” Thacker, 62, of Elkhorn WI died Sunday October 17, 2021 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Brad was born July 21, 1959 in Aurora the son of William and Judith (Ludlum) Thacker. He married Julie Schneider his partner of 15 years on October 14, 2021 in East Troy WI. Brad was a member of the Masons. He was a man of many talents and passions. Brad held pride in all of his accomplishments. Survivors include his wife Julie; his mother Judy Hallock of SanJuan TX; three sons Chris Thacker, Will (Ashley) Thacker, and Jake (Megan) Thacker all of Rock Falls; one daughter Lauren (Adam) Williams of Sterling; two sisters Beth Thacker of Poplar Grove, and Kyna (Gary) Farmer of Laguna Vista TX; Step children Alyssa (Justin) Bierbower of WI; Elizabeth Floyd of WI; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents and father William Thacker. Cremation rites have been accorded and visitation will take place from 11AM - 1 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, IL.
