STERLING- Richard “Rick” Sotelo, 52, of Rock Falls, died Tuesday November 2, 2021 at CGH Medical Center. Rick was born January 19, 1969 in Sterling the son of Camilo and Margaret (Rios) Sotelo.
Survivors include his father Camilo Sotelo of Rock Falls; two sons Nathan Sotelo and Michael Sotelo; five brothers Rueben Sotelo, John (Debbie) Sotelo, Rene (Kendra) Sotelo, Mark (Christine Bushman) Sotelo, and Mario (Sue) Sotelo; three sisters Lisa (Bill) Lawson, Sonia (Danny) Matznick, and Rosanna Simester; and one grandson Khail Sotelo.
He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Sotelo.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be from 1PM-3PM Sunday November 7, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling.
A memorial has been established.
