STERLING-Oralia “Lolly” Olalde, 53, of Sterling, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Good Samaritan Advocate Hospital, Downers Grove, after a long fight with heart complications. Lolly was born October 18, 1968 in Sterling, the daughter of Dionicio “Don” and Mary (Villegas) Olalde.
Survivors include her father, Dionicio “Don” Olalde of Sterling; daughter, MaKenzie (Katie Stark) Love of Glendale, AZ; step-daughter Alexis Rascon of Glendale, AZ; three sisters Mary Ann “Shorty” Olalde, Grace (BJ) Bostelman, Tina (Zach) Knox; one brother Dionicio “DJ" Olalde all of Sterling; nephews Jose, Brady, Nolan, and Caemyn; nieces Kyleigh, and Kiana; Aunt Carmen Villegas, and Uncle Evaristo Villegas; and several other Aunts, Uncles and family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Olalde and her grandparents.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 22, 2021 at St Mary Catholic Church, Sterling with Reverend Jorge Bravo, officiating. Visitation will be from 1-4 PM Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial has been established.
