Obituary of Christine Johnson

Monroe, WI- Christine L. Johnson, 72, of Dixon died Sunday November 28, 2021 at Monroe Clinic in Monroe, WI. Christine was born March 13, 1949 in Dixon and was the daughter of Charles and Marjorie (Lowry) Rutherford. She spent the past 55 years with the love of her life, Jerry. She was an avid bargain hunter at flea markets, auctions, and garage sales. Later in life, she became a crafter. She loved to paint and create unique décor pieces with vases and flowers. She had dreams of opening her own shop one day. Survivors include her husband Jerry Johnson of Dixon; one son Troy Johnson of Dixon; nephew Matthew (Mercedes) Rutherford of Woosung; one brother Rick Rutherford of Grand Detour; one sister Marcie Rutherford of Grand Detour. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Connie Rutherford. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation and have been accorded.
