Obituary of Oscar Bosch

Sterling – Oscar Armando Bosch Sr., 65, of Sterling, passed peacefully from this world on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Oscar served his country as a member of the National Guard. Employed at Global Ground before retiring. Mr. Bosch was born on January 12, 1956 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Oscar was a proud Boricua who passed down his culture and heritage to his children and grandchildren. He was also a profound lover of cars and would travel annually to the Chicago Auto Show where great memories were made with his son and family. Oscar is survived by the love of his life, Nilda (Gonzalez) who he celebrated 46 years wonderful years of marriage to just before his passing. Mr. Bosch is also survived by his daughters Nina (David Rios), Kathryn (Michael Rodriguez), his son Oscar Armando Jr. (Johana Pedroza), ten grandchildren, Alexsandra (Joshua Goodwin), Michael, David, Nathaniel, Joel, Nita, Oscar Armando III, Jacob, Analisse, Anaya and one great grandson, Allen Josiah Armando. The visitation and memorial service will be held this Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 3pm-8pm at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling, Illinois.
