Betty J. Franks,79 of Sterling passed peacefully at her home on February 13, 2022. Betty was born April 17, 1942 in Sterling the son of Asa and Gladys (Boyer) Scott.
Betty fought a long battle with bone cancer.
Survivors include one son Stephen Hart of Sterling, one daughter Susan (Randy) Morrison of Ballard WV; one step-daughter Jessie (Donnie) Skibbe Irvine CA; one brother Ed (Marlene) Hurley of Sterling; one sister Peggy (Roger) Grau of Morrison; two grandchildren Patrick O’Neil and Stephanie Belcher; several great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her father Asa Scott, mother Gladys Hurley, and step-father Ed Hurley Sr., and her second husband Gerald Franks.
Graveside services will be 10AM Thursday February 24, 2022 at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, with Dalmus Meeks, officiating.
