LEOLA "SIS" RUDIGER CLINTON, IA - Leola "Sis" Rudiger, 87, of Clinton, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Bickford Assisted Living of Clinton. Leola was born February 20, 1925 in Hooppole, the daughter of Robert and Ida (Bacon) Schultz. She married James Rudiger on January 3, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1997. Leola was a member of Albany United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler and won several tournaments. Leola also enjoyed fishing and camping. She was devoted to her family and friends. Survivors include one daughter, Rosalie (Robert) Deis of Albany; and one brother, Duane (Lois) Schultz of Rock Island. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Aldeane Schryver; and a brother, Bill Schultz. Services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, December 24, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor Melody Williams of Albany United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 AM, Monday, prior to services at the Funeral Home.
