Obituary of Della Hulstrom

Della Bernice (Cooper) Hulstrom, 92, died Sunday, July 10, 2022 at CGH Medical Center. She was employed by S&D Clothing, Sterling and Blain’s Farm & Fleet, Sterling for many years prior to her retirement. Bernice was born January 3, 1930 in Covington, TN. The daughter of Rosie & Robert Cochran. She married James Cooper in February 1948. After James’ death she then married Everett Hulstrom on March 11, 1995 in Dixon. Survivors include one son, J. Gary Cooper of Apache Junction, AZ, one daughter, Linda (Paul) Lawyer of Rock Falls; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings. Visitation will be Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 9-11AM at the Sterling First Church of the Nazarene with the Reverend Dennis Owens officiating. Funeral Services will follow at 11AM at the Church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
