Obituary of Lorraine Mierzwa

DIXON-Lorraine Nettie Mierzwa, 92, of Dixon, died Saturday July 30, 2022 at her home.
Lorraine was born July 28, 1930 in Chicago, the daughter of Walter and Caroline (Szwast) Cholewa. She married Frank Stanley Mierzwa. He preceded her in death in 2015.
Lorraine loved to bake, island hopping in the Caribbean and going to the casino.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine Rivera; three sons, Paul (Cindy) Mierzwa, John (Janice) Mierzwa and Anthony Mierzwa; six grandchildren, Mark, Stacey, Eric, Michelle, Brian and William and three great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brooke and Jaxson.
Private funeral services will be held at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nevada at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
