Obituary of Kala Ann Maxwell

   Kala Ann Maxwell, 59, of Sterling passed away Monday October 24, 2022 at Rock River Hospice & Home, surrounded by family.  Kala was born September 25, 1963 in Sterling the daughter of Neil and Gyneth (Frank) Partridge.  She married Roger Maxwell on October 16, 1982 in Rock Falls.

    Kala's favorite joy was spending time with and spoiling her 3 grandchildren.

   Survivors include her husband Roger; three daughters Stephanie (Joseph) O’Halloran of West Allis WI, Katie (Cody) Rhodes of Bettendorf IA, and Emmalie (Zach Oldfield) Maxwell of Norwood Young America MN; one brother Alan (Kris) Partridge of Rock Falls; three grandchildren Dylan Rhodes, Asher Rhodes, and Henry O’Halloran.

   Kala was preceded in death by her parents.

   Per Kala’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.  

   A memorial has been established to Rock River Hospice & Home, and Happy Tails.
