Obituary of Jeanne Schuetz

 Jeanne A. Schuetz, 75, of Sterling, died Sunday December 18, 2022 surrounded by her family at KSB Hospital in Dixon.  Jeanne was born October 8, 1947, the daughter of William R. and Sarah (Geary) Boze.  She married James Schuetz on March 22, 1980 in Rock Falls.

 

   Jeanne worked at Frantz Manufacturing as a customer service manager for 42 years until her retirement in 2013. She enjoyed numerous craft activities, and spending time with her family.

 

   Survivors include her husband James; one son Darin (Paula) Schuetz of Sterling; one daughter Dawn (Denver) Owen; one brother Robert (Amy) Boze of Sterling; two sisters Anne (James) Kenney of Sterling and Cathy (Brian) Dorathy of Rock Falls; five grandchildren Andrew (Molly) Denning, Blake (Haley) Denning, Madisen Denning, Breanna (Josh) Lopez, and Jonathan (Mary Kay) Schuetz; numerous nieces and nephews. 

 

   Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents.

 

   Memorial service will take place at 11AM Friday December 23, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church in Sterling, with Dr. Reverend Christina Berry, officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10AM-11AM at Church. Burial will take place at a later date. 

 

   A memorial has been established.
