Obituary of Duane Scholl

    Duane Scholl, 72, of Polo died Saturday January 14, 2023 at his farm surrounded by family.  Duane was born December 16, 1950 in Dixon the son of Maurice and Marcella (Liechty) Scholl.  He married Kathryn Bernardin on January 30, 1970.

    Survivors include his wife Kathryn; one son Chris Scholl of Polo & Milaca MN; one daughter Staci (Eric) Jangula of Milledgeville; two brothers Harvey Scholl of Lufkin TX, and David (Kay) Scholl of Galesburg; five grandchildren Danae, Siarra, Elisabeth, Tanner, and Jayce. 

   Duane was preceded in death by his parents Maurice (Marcella) Scholl; and one sister Beth Ann Oujiri.

   Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday January 19, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home, in Sterling, with Dalmus Meeks, officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday January 18, 2023 from 5PM-7PM at Schilling Funeral Home, and also one hour prior to the funeral from 10AM-11AM on Thursday.  

   A memorial has been established.
