Obituary of Al Wildman
Alan D. “Al” Wildman, 80, of Sterling died January 19, 2023 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Al was born November 28, 1942 the son of Charles and Anita (Bane) Wildman. He married Marilyn Colson on August 12, 1977 in Sterling.
Al was a member of the Tampico Lions Club and a former volunteer fireman for Tampico. He was also a member of the Tampico Town Council for many years. Al was an avid Bears and Cubs fan. He worked in sales for Snap-On Tools, he managed Lohse Auto Parts, then managed and retired from O'Reilly's in Rock Falls.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn; one step-daughter Jody (Raul) Ranjel of Sterling; one brother Wilbur (Jan) Wildman of Rock Falls; two grandchildren Andrea (Jon) Toth of Mt. Morris and Courtney (Andrew) Pope of Sterling; three great-grandchildren Avery Pope, Everlee Pope and Mason Toth.
Al was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Anita Wildman.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside service will take place at a later date.
