So many memories I Could share. I have known Kevin and Judy for so many years..Loved sports and children. Honest to a fault when it came to money. We all have faults and failures. But I believe Kevin tried to " follow the WORD "as much as was possible for any man. Enjoy the presence of God and his saints. Sis Hammond

Kevin came out to Phoenix a few years ago and we went to a Cubs and DiamondBacks spring training game. He had such a presence in his height that no one would give him side eyes for cheering for the Cubbies. I am thankful for the time that I was able to share with him. Kevin was an exemplary Christian, a humble leader, and a caring father & grandfather. We will miss him.

Q: What will you never forget about Kevin?
A: The one thing I'll never forget?
What serving and loving God, and family mean. These two things meant everything to him. From the time I met Kevin and Judy, they showed me more of the Lord than I have ever seen before. They both enriched our lives and the lives of many. He was a great brother and friend to me. He showed me things in the world and in life, what to hang on to and what to let go. how to pray and stand on what you believed and watch the Lord work. Working with them both in the youth ministries was one of the most enriching times in my life. The Lord showed up and you could not deny his presence. Now as an older Chirstian I take what Kevin has imparted into my journey and I'll never forget what an honor it was to have known him. Dan and I will carry him in our hearts he is ALWAYS a part of us, once you meet a man like Kevin, you're never the same :)

We will never forget the events at Dixon Assembly that Kevin helped with. He always made people feel welcome and needed by his big voice and smile. He would grab them to help run a game at the Fall Festival. He would run a couple of games during our Fishing Derby event, even though it was pouring down rain outside. We are sure he is running with other saints in Heaven with his deep laugh and big smile.

Q: How did you meet Kevin?
A: I dated Kevin and Judy’s son throughout my high school years. It was during those years that Kevin and Judy lead me to know God and the love He has for me. They were amazing Christians and parents. They treated me like one of their own and opened their house for me my senior year when I had nowhere else to go. Kevin was a perfect example of a loving father through Jesus Christ. I will never forget all he did for me. Love and appreciation for you always, Captain. Rest in God’s love and peace.
