Obituary of Shay Goellner

   Shay Goellner, 24, of Milledgeville died April 24, 2023.  Shay was born on April 15, 1999 the son of Wayne (Anne) Goellner and Becki Mock.

   Shay enjoyed fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, farming and spending time with his friends and family.

   Survivors include his parents; maternal grandparents Vicki (Butch) Woods of Mt. Carroll and Jerry (Karen) Mock of Rock City IL; two aunts Terri Mock of TX, Lynn (Clarence) Meiners of TX, and Duane (Sara) Mock of Rock City; one step sister- Staci (Zach) Robbe of Polo; Cousins Adam Goellner of Rockford, Emily Roden of AL, Chelsey (Troy) Wagenknecht of Milledgeville, Sydnee Pottratz of TX, Makena Meiners of TX, Samantha Mock and Makayla Mock both of Rock City IL.

   Shay was preceded in death by paternal grandparents James Goellner and Barb (Ivan) Miller and one Aunt Julie Goellner.

   Cremation rites have been accorded and Funeral service will be 12PM Saturday April 29, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Milledgeville, with Pastor Susan Davenport, officiating. Visitation will be 10AM-12PM, two hours prior to the funeral service. Burial will take place at a later date. 

   A memorial has been established.
