Obituary of Jill Bishop

Jill Bishop, 71, of Oregon died Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Madison, WI.  Jill was born January 9, 1952 in Dixon, the daughter of Douglas and Anne (Keith) White.  She married Tim Bishop on December 6, 1980 in Polo.  

   Jill was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She adored her family and her dogs. Jill had many talents, she was an entrepreneur running a photography studio, bridal shop, and furniture store before returning to school and graduating as a Registered Nurse at the age of 42. She loved Sunday meals with her family and lunches with her sisters. She had an infectious smile that will be dearly missed. 

   Survivors include her husband Tim; two sons Kelly (Amber) Bishop of Rock Falls, and Kyle (Brittany) Bishop of Mahomet IL; one daughter Tracy (Brian) Reeder of Polo; two sisters Cheryl (Hughes) Joiner of Polo, and Kaye (Jim) Davis of Oregon; one sister-in-law Susan White of Roscoe; brother-in-law Tom (Beverly) Bishop of Racine WI; and nine grandchildren Austin Reeder, Allison (Juan) Munoz, Skylar Bishop, Skylar Smith, Wyatt Forster, Harley Bishop, Raiden Bishop, Knox Bishop, and Madden Bishop. 

   Jill was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Barrett Bishop; brother Keith White; and aunt Melba White.

   Private family services will be held at 10AM on  Friday, May 5, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, in Sterling.
