Obituary of Marion J. Quick

   Marion J. Quick, 93, of Sterling, died Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Allure of Sterling.

   Marion was born August 3, 1929 in Parma, OH, the daughter of James Lee and Margaret (Landers) Ague. She married Carl Quick on August 27, 1950 in Sterling. He preceded her in death in June of 1992. 

   Marion was an extremely talented and artistic seamstress. She owned and operated the Quick Needle in Sterling for 27 years. 

   Survivors include her daughter, Renae Wolzfelt of Cartersville, GA; three sons, Louis (Barbara) Quick of Sterling, Howard Neil Quick of Grand Rapids MI and Roger Quick of Richmond, VA; three grandchildren, Benjamin (Lilly Nolan) Wolzfelt of Normandy Park, WA, Kristina Quick of Sterling and Michael Quick of Sterling. 

   She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, Irene, Dorothy, Thelma, Virginia, Betty and Catherine and one brother, James.

   Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with Pastor Paul Lee of Wesley United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 3-6PM at the funeral home. 

   A memorial has been established.
