Obituary of Daisy Linker

  Daisy V. Linker, 93, of Sterling passed away peacefully November 1, 2023. Daisy was a Pink Lady Volunteer at CGH and church secretary at Rock Falls United Methodist Church for many years where she enjoyed meeting and helping people. Daisy enjoyed working in her yard and garden. Daisy married the love of her life Jack Linker on August 1, 1948 at “The Little Brown Church in the Vale” in Nashua Iowa. They recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. Daisy loved her family, church family and playing pinochle. She will be greatly missed. 

   Daisy is survived by her husband Jack; one daughter Vikki (Lyle) Butler; one son Steven (Ann) Linker; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. 

   Daisy was preceded in death by six sisters Eleanor Harding, Vivian Tegeler, Betty Senese, Fern Bramm, Leta Wolfe, MaryLou Meyer; and two brothers Wilbur Frankfother, and Duane Frankfother.

   Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday November 4, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Sterling, with the Rev. Siegfried Schwirblat, of Rock Falls United Methodist Church, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral from 10AM-11AM. Burial will take place at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. 

   A memorial has been established to Rock Falls United Methodist Church.
